I see the medium of glass as so much more than an artistic outlet or a functional material. I see glass as a subtle and silent teacher—demonstrating the power of being fluid and yet solid to the touch, stable yet malleable under the right conditions, transparent and yet mysterious to the untrained eye and hand, and the power of what can be co-created within relationship. While I am exhausted, though happy, from the 16 hours of social-interaction, and I neglected my homework for grad school this weekend, I had a wonderful experience working Clark County’s Recycled Arts Festival, again!
